Congratulations to Senior Cheer Captain Sloane Salitore. Sloane was selected to be an NCA summer camp instructor. She will be traveling all over the country sharing her passion and leadership in cheerleading as she helps other teams during summer camps. Way to go Sloane!

Student Council is sponsoring a Spring Dance this Saturday, March 20, from 7:00 pm until 10:00 pm in the Middle School Gym. The Student Body voted the 80s as the theme for the dance and students are dressing in theme. The tickets are sold at lunches for $5.00 and no tickets will be sold at the event. Dates for this dance are optional as everyone is invited to come and have a fun evening.

March 2nd, several students from Bishop T.K. Gorman Band program participated in the Texas Private Schools Solo & Ensemble Contest.
Band Student Solos earning 1st Division (Superior) ratings on Class 3 (medium-easy) solos include: Ruth Tilahun-Flute, Molly Madsen-Flute, Jack Chapman-Alto Sax, Brennan Ministrelli-Trumpet, Quinton Rebmann-Trombone, Hiskiel Aytenfisu-Snare.
Band Student Solos earning 1st Division (Superior) ratings on Class 2 (medium) solos include: Natalie Rebmann-Clarinet, Elaina Farrow-Clarinet, Kaela Young-Trumpet, Matthew McKnight-Trombone, Ethan Saurette-Baritone, Thomas Brown-Tuba, Hannah Cammack-Marimba, Jackson Stokes-Snare.
Band Ensembles earning 1st Division (Superior) ratings on Class 2 (medium) ensembles include: Heather Schmitt, Hannah Cammack, Matthew McKnight, Natalie Rebmann, Benjamin McKnight, Thomas Brown, Gavin Broaddus, Kaela Young, Jennifer Natera, Ethan Saurette and Jorge Garcia – Percussion Ensemble.
Band Solos earning 1st Division (Superior) ratings and earning the right to compete in the State Contest in May on Class 1 (difficult) solos include: Heather Schmitt-Flute, Gavin Broaddus-Tenor Sax, Benjamin McKnight-Euphonium.
A great deal of hard work and effort by these Gorman students went into preparing their music for this contest. Special thanks to the teachers, parent volunteers and judges for their help and support of the students in this competition.

Theology Position Posting


The TAPPS 4A All-District basketball teams have been released, with seven players earning honors from Bishop Gorman. Juniors Elizabeth Mahfood, Taylor Wood and Maria Kariampuzha were named to the All-District 1st Team. Mahfood is the MVP for District 2, with Wood earning Offensive Player of the Year honors.
Juniors Claire Testa and Grace Coan were named to the All-district 2nd Team, with sophomore's Ellie Coan and Jailynn Lee earning honorable mention all-district recognition.
Bishop Gorman head coach Jon Froelich was named the District Coach of the Year. The Lady Crusaders finished the season 25-7, winning the District, Bi-District and Area Championship, while finishing as the Regional Runner-up.
