Apply for INSPIRIT AI, a pre-college intensive AI programming course taught by Stanford graduate students. The program cost is $900. They are accepting applications now for winter break; the application deadline is October 31st. There is a second, spring semester program with a December 31st application deadline. Gorman 2020 Mock Election- This week students will get the chance to practice casting a ballot and choosing the nation's leaders in a mock schoolwide election.

Andrew Carney and Eric Ware made a lot of progress on the resurfacing of the stage floor in the HS gym. The 1st coat is down on the visible stage area, and 1/3 of the way done with the whole project! Here are some pictures to update:




Oceanography students at Bishop Gorman are using their microscope skills to look at budding Hydra.



Academics at Bishop Gorman remain a high priority. Students continue to excel in the classroom and if needed, at home with distance learning. Allison Harrell recently gave a lesson on graphing data to her science classmates . . . distance learning and the classroom. Great job Allison!

Created during the 2020 Global Pandemic lockdown, this work of art now hangs on the entryway wall of the Bishop Gorman Art Studio. Distance learning Art students each painted an assigned section of Matisse’s “Goldfish” (1912).
