BISHOP GORMAN HAS RECEIVED A $75,000 DONATION FROM THE TYLER CATHOLIC SCHOOL FOUNDATION. All funds will be used for tuition assistance, with all additional funds raised between now and the end of July being matched, up to $75,000. In addition, the board of directors approved an additional $75,000 donation to St. Gregory in Tyler.
The Tyler Catholic School Foundation is a non-profit charitable corporation created in 1983 to attract, receive, steward, invest and manage permanent funds for the benefit of St. Gregory and Bishop Gorman in Tyler. As a student at Bishop Gorman, Michelle Obach would earn all-state honors on the basketball court, becoming the all-time leading scorer in school history. She was a college All-American at UT-Tyler, and now . . . a graduate of The University of Houston Law School. BG is proud of this 2013 graduate. Well done Michelle!
Work continues on the basketball/volleyball court in Haddad Gymnasium.
